Camino del Portillo from Esperanza Boulevard to Continental Road

Pima County, Ariz. (Nov. 8) – On Thursday, November 10, and Friday, November 11, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Granite Construction, Inc., will be performing milling and paving work on Camino del Portillo from Esperanza Boulevard to Continental Road as part of Pima County’s Road Pavement Repair and Preservation Program.

The work will consist of setting traffic control and milling and repaving Camino del Portillo.

Flaggers will be on site to direct, monitor and control traffic movements through the construction zone. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. Minor delays may occur during this work.

In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.

In Fiscal Year 2022/2023, the Pima County Board of Supervisors and Transportation Department allocated $66 million in road repair and preservation funding for the Road Pavement Repair and Preservation Program.
