Our seasonal homeowners are returning, and traffic is increasing. More bicycles and golf carts are on the roads, so please be cautious.
We’re receiving many calls about wildlife roaming in neighborhoods. Questions and concerns can be directed to Arizona Game and Fish Department at 520-628-5376. The Green Valley Council will also be hosting a Living with Urban Wildlife forum in February, please contact the office for the complete forum list or for more information on any one of our forums.
Budget season is approaching. Remember, GVC annual dues are increasing a mere $0.16/month to $14.00 annually. Our speaking engagement calendar is filling up. We have a presentation that we use when speaking at HOA meetings and for various civic and social groups. Contact the office if you would like to schedule a presentation.
Seeking a few good Citizens: The Green Valley Council is based on volunteerism. This is the time of year when we send out a request for interested community members to seek positions on the Council’s Executive Board or Standing Committees. The time commitment is nominal compared to your community impact. We urge you to be a part of the future of Green Valley. To express interest or for more information email info@gvcouncil.org or call 520- 648-1936.
For GVC member HOAs, a “Member Portal” is under construction on the website. This will house pertinent documents, training modules, vital information, and other member resources. Thank you for the suggestion.
Celebrate the cooler weather and support Historic Canoa Ranch. The GVC Foundation/Friends of the Canoa Parks will be hosting “The Coolers” in concert for one show only on October 28th (please see the attached flyer).
Just a reminder that the Green Valley Sahuarita Chamber of Commerce Foundation will be hosting a “Paper Shred-a-Thon & Electronic Recycling” event on October 21st. Please contact the Chamber for more information on that event.
As always, we thank you for your commitment to our unique and vibrant community,
